Gbenro Ajibade is an actor, producer, model, and presenter well-recognized by his works in 'Hip Hop Holiday' as Trey, 'Gbomo Gbomo Express' as Filo, 'Locked Up' as Marcel, 'The Wages' as Kaycee, and so on.

Education & Alma Mater

Ajibade first attended Makurdi International School for his primary education and Mount Saint Gabriels Secondary School from where he completed his secondary education. He then got enrolled at Benue State University from where he completed his study by getting a degree in Biology.

Has Six Siblings

The '10 Days in Sun City' actor is blessed with five brothers and one sister with whom he spends his entire childhood while growing up. Ajibade is quite personal about his private life but he has revealed his one brother name Jude Ige Ajibade in the remembrance of his death. 

On September 23, 2014, he posted a picture of Jude, captioning "U DIED SMILING SO AM REST ASSURED UR IN A BETTER PLACE" and said he also was an inspiration to rest of the siblings.

Ex-Wife: Osas Ighodaro

In 2015, Ajibade got married to Osas Ighodaro, actress, producer, host, and humanitarian known for her works in 'Gbomo Gbomo Express', 'The Bling Lagosians', 'New Money', and 'Tinsel'. The pair had a fairy tale wedding in New York but got divorced in 2019.

Ajibade was once all over the internet as he was blamed for marrying Ighodaro for a green card. However, he denied all the rumors and said if it was for a green card, he wouldn't get through all the process by doing traditional marriage by involving family, doing a white wedding in New York.

Why He Left Osas Ighodaro

The par have now called off their three years of marriage in 2019, and also have a child together. The reason behind their divorce could be Ighodaro being irresponsible as February 17, 2019, Ajibade used his Insta where he wrote:

 "Who leaves their baby in the house and goes out to party with friends/events from 6 pm to 5 am?".

He also added that it wasn't the first time, Ighodaro has once sent a stranger to drop their baby off at home with a nanny so she could have fun all night. So, Ighodaro neglecting her responsibility and child could the major reason for their separation. 

Despite their rough ending, Ajibade said they are still in touch and he still has love and respect for her. 

Blessed With A Daughter

Ajibade and Ighodaro have a baby girl together whom they named Azariah Tiwatope Osarugue Ajibade. She was welcomed to this world after one year of their marriage in 2016. Gbenro loves his daughter so much and said he will always be there for his daughter.

Miss His Home Nigeria

Ajibade used to live in the US, but returned to Nigeria saying "he missed Nigeria". In an interview, the 'When a woman loves' actor stated he missed all the freedom and craziness about Nigeria and how you can behave anyhow in here. 

Ajibade also added, he didn't miss the food because he used to cook every day in Atlanta, as his mother taught him. His mother made them pound yam, and cut okra and vegetables which he felt like a punishment in childhood but is grateful for that now.
